"I am looking foward to seeing the poo god!"
Well 2 days have passed since my last blog post and a lot has happened! so here we go:
as the title suggests we did indeed go and see the temple of the poo god. not too sure what thats all about but okay! it seems there is a god for everything, Tanka has told us that there is around 33 million Gods in Nepal!!
on sunday morning we went out our flight to Mount Everest. This was AMAZING! we got Just above the haze and suddenly this huge mountain range appeared we flew for a bit and then came to Everest which was huge! as we flew over on our way to everest you could really tell just how remote Kathmandu is, there are few (if any) proper roads in and out of the city, and it is just surrounded by mountains and hills.
Then that evening we took tanka and lots of people, 20 in total, out for a meal to a steak house! this was awesome. I also got to go there on a motorcycle which was sooooo much fun! for most of today I have been going around Kathmandu and out into the valley on the back of either Kommel (i don't know if thats spelt right) or N.D's bikes.

Illness strikes again!
yes the title is correct, however this time it is not me. Clara came down with an illness today and has had to spend the day in the hotel sleeping and recovering, it would be great if everyone could pray for her because as we know with me.. it works!!
Today we became tourists taking in the different areas of Kathmandu, walking through the streets, there are many interesting things to buy, knives, hats, crazy clothes... things. we saw some of the temples, one of which a "real living goddess" in it. we saw sacred cows, which have provided a lot of amusement and we have also been followed by "the orange people", these are men dressed in orange robes trying to give us petals as good luck charms, one chap followed us for around 20 minutes. we then lost him by turning down different roads and around an hour later as we walked out of a cafe... dun dun duuuuunnn (suspense music) he was there!
Nathan Miles and Jon Newport, if you a reading this, I was tempted to get some hash for your paella. according to the gentleman trying to sell if to me "it the best in the world, it will make you feel as good as making toilet after long day".
JP and Betty - Say happy birthday to Chrissy J for me :D
